DESCRIPTION

Hell Break is a first-person action-arcade run-and-gun game. The player must overcome waves of creatures of various difficulties as they climb through a hellish environment. Collecting powerups and unique weapons to assist them, as they outrun the rising lava that poses a constant obstacle.

For this project, As a Design Director of a small team, five people, I was responsible for ensuring our project's design stayed in scope, we met deadlines, and collaborating with the technical side. Because we were a small team, I took up the role of the design team and made our GDD and other related documents. I spent a lot of my time on the level design, adding the art to the game, making particle effects, and designing the UI. A lot of us had to double up on disciplines for this project because we are a small team, so I also did some scripting for the player movement and UI for example.
